Salt Player Terms of Use

1 Introduction

Welcome to Salt Player (the “Software”). These Terms of Use (the “Terms”) form an agreement between Xunxun Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. (“we” or “us”) and you.

By using the Software, you accept these Terms. If you do not accept them, please do not use the Software. Please read these Terms carefully.

2 Installation and use rights

If a properly licensed copy of the Software is installed on your device with the designated signature, you may run the Software or a copy of it, such as an app clone, on that device. Please refer to the online services for information about specific versions.

3 Internet-based and other support services

Using certain features also means that you agree to the transmission of certain standard computer information to obtain network-based services. The Software provides Internet-based services, which may be changed or discontinued at any time. In some cases, you will not receive a separate notice when a connection is established. You can turn off a feature or choose not to use a service by disabling its permissions in your device’s permission settings. Using the feature indicates your agreement to transmit this information.

4 Support services

We do not provide support for copies of the Software that have been altered, including copies with a modified signature.

5 Mobile device information

Network protocols transmit device information to the relevant systems, such as your IP address, operating system type, the name and version of the Software, and the language code of the device on which it is installed. This information is used to provide network-based services. Please see the Salt Player Privacy Policy for details.

6 Scope of license

The Software is licensed, not sold. These Terms grant you only certain rights to use the Software. We reserve all other rights. Unless applicable law gives you more rights despite these limitations, you may use the Software only as expressly permitted by these Terms. You must comply with its technical limitations, which permit use only in certain ways. The following activities are restricted:

(1) Circumventing any technical limitation of the Software.

(2) Reverse engineering, decompiling or disassembling the Software, modifying its internal resources, or otherwise compromising its integrity. This restriction does not apply to the extent that applicable law expressly permits such activities despite the restriction.

(3) Making more copies of the Software than permitted by these Terms or applicable law, despite this limitation.

(4) Renting, leasing or lending the Software.

(5) Transferring the Software or these Terms to a third party.

7 Granted rights

You may make backup copies for reinstallation or distribute the Software for others to download.

8 Entire agreement

These Terms, together with any terms for supplements, updates, Internet-based services and support services you use, constitute the entire agreement concerning the Software and its support services.

9 Warranty disclaimer

The Software is licensed “as is.” You bear the risk of using it. We provide no other express warranties, guarantees or conditions. Depending on your region, you may have consumer rights that these Terms cannot change. To the extent permitted by local law, we exclude implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

10 Pro membership and In-App Purchases on iOS

The iPhone and iPad versions are free to download. Local music playback, library management and standard lyrics are available for free. Pro is an optional purchase that unlocks the advanced features listed in the app.

Pro is available as a monthly subscription, an annual subscription or a permanent unlock. All three options unlock the same Pro features. Monthly subscriptions are billed monthly, and annual subscriptions are billed for a full year. The price, currency and billing period are those shown by Apple for confirmation before purchase.

Monthly and annual subscriptions renew automatically, and payments are charged to your Apple account. Unless you cancel automatic renewal at least 24 hours before the current subscription period ends, the subscription will renew automatically. The renewal fee will be charged to your Apple account within 24 hours before the current period ends. You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account’s subscription settings. After cancellation, access continues until the end of the paid subscription period.

A permanent unlock is a one-time purchase with no automatic renewal. After reinstalling the app or changing devices, you can use Restore Purchases on the Pro page to verify restorable entitlements while signed in to the Apple account used for the original purchase.

Payments, refunds and subscription account management are provided by Apple. Refund requests can be made through Apple’s refund support. Apps distributed through the App Store are also subject to the Apple Standard End User License Agreement. Personal information handling on iOS is described in the iOS section of the Privacy Policy.
